Grenova’s founder Ali Safavi was asked to present at TEDxYouth to address the steady rise in plastic biohazard waste produced from the laboratory and healthcare industry. In his inspiring presentation, Ali shared his mission to create a future free from plastic pollution—a future that is filled with an abundance of life, not an abundance of plastic.

Grenova’s founder and CEO, Ali Safavi, will present ways to reduce the science community’s plastic waste during LABVOLUTION, a flagship European trade show for innovative lab equipment. Hosted May 21-23, this year’s conference will focus on the theme of "The Integrated Lab,” signaling the show's strong emphasis on connectivity. LABVOLUTION documents and showcases every facet of laboratory practice – including technology, infrastructure and analytics solutions for labs in all sectors (including the chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries, the life sciences, biotechnology, environmental technology, food technology, medicine and R&D). The highly anticipated event attracts a core constituency of lab leaders from northern, eastern and western Germany, the Benelux states, France, the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland and parts of Eastern Europe.

Grenova is proud to join the Technical Sales Association at the “270 Research Corridor” Biomedical Equipment and Supplies Exhibit at Johns Hopkins University, Montgomery County Campus. Maryland is now home to the third largest concentration of life sciences companies in the United States. The majority of these companies as well as major research institutions are located in the I-270 corridor and are encouraged to attend the exhibit on June 27, 2019.

Like AACC, Grenova is dedicated to clinical laboratory science and its application to healthcare. At the upcoming 71st AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo, Grenova will showcase its cutting edge science and technology that is shaping the future of laboratory medicine.

Grenova is pleased to announce that it will demonstrate how innovative laboratories across the country are eliminating lab waste and saving money at the 67th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics. Hosted June 2 - 6, 2019, the ASMS Conference will be held in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center. Here, Grenova will showcase its patented tip washer systems, which have been validated and implemented in CLIA and CAP certified production labs on multiple assays without carryover.

Grenova will showcase its ability to dramatically lower cost in the laboratory industry by reducing biohazard waste at the 2019 NIH Spring Biomedical Research Equipment and Supplies Exhibit. The spring event will be hosted at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda on May 22 and 23 and is sponsored by the Technical Sales Association, a nationwide member-led organization based in greater metropolitan Washington, DC. The highly anticipated event will offer participants an opportunity to learn the most effective ways to spend their end-of-year budget on the most innovative and impactful ways to reduce consumable biohazard waste and cut down their cost up to 90% through Grenova’s patented technology.

The Richmond Technology Council (RVATECH), central Virginia’s catalyst for technology, has named Grenova as the Technology Project of the Year for its efforts to dramatically lower costs in the laboratory industry while reducing the biohazard waste in the environment. The prestigious award was announced at the 24th Annual Technology Awards Gala, a celebration of over 700 business leaders, hosted at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. An independent panel of judges selected award winners in a variety of categories representing the breakthroughs, advancements, and outstanding technologists in the region.

Grenova has been featured in an informative article, titled “In a 'growth phase,' Richmond-based Grenova has opened a new office and production plant,” by John Blackwell in the Richmond Times Dispatch.
